A pretty decent game for that U17 final. Both players very intense and willing, hitting hard and accurately, long rallies, lots of sweat on the court – despite the AC.
First game was dominated by Tawfik 8/3, but a good effort from Adham, coming back to 7/8. A last push from Tawfik and it’s 11/8 in 11m.
Second is close, 3/3, 5/5, Adham takes the lead 8/5, but is finally caught up 9/9, thanks to errors creeping him in his game at the business end, 11/9 in 12m.
Good response for Adham in the 3rd, getting in front of his opponent, cutting down on the errors. 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, 6/6, then off he goes to the finishing post, 11/8 in 13m…
The fourth looks won for Tawfik to be honest, 8/3, but a little wobble of the mind, errors, wrong choices and Adham is back 7/8! A few yalla, closed fists and great rallies, it’s Tawfik that closes it out 11/8 in 13m…
