BOYS

Like for the BU13, the Big Guns are only joining the fun next round and it was pretty comfortable for most of the higher seeds.
Still, Mohamed Haytham Hedeya [9/16] had a heavy battle on his racquet as he managed to clinch his first round only just, 15-13, 10-12, 13-11, 11-9 against Ahmed Darwish, [17/32].
Only upset I could see what Italian Omar Zaki Masoud [17/32] taking the better of Egypt Nour El Din El Welely [9/16] in 4 games, 11-1, 5-11, 11-7, 11-3. 

GIRLS

Another 4 groups for the girls, and not a walk in the park for Judy Karim Osman [5/8], a 49m tussle against Retaj Samir [9/16] 11-3, 10-12, 11-8, 11-5.
In group C, no prisoners for Ola Elborolossy big sister, as Amina Elborolossy [3/4] despatched of Jana Mostafa Hussein [9/16] 11-1, 11-4, 11-1 and 12.30, then of Yasmin Tarek Elserry [5/8] at 4pm, 11-3, 11-2, 11-3! NEXT, comes to mind…
A nice upset to finish in group D: a [3/4] seed that falls, Sarah Ramy Soudan, 3/0 down to Farah Sherif Mahfouz [9/16] 11-3 11-4 11-5…
